The flock was established in 1982. Located 2 miles east of Troy, Ohio at 4809 E. Casstown-Clark Rd., Casstown, Ohio 45312.

At one time when our daughters, Julie and Krista, were in 4-H and FFA, we had as many as 120 brood ewes that at one time were all in our show flock. Since 1997 we have only purchased one ewe, the 2003 Reserve National Champion, but at the present time all of our ewes have been born and raised on our farm. The ewes are only mated to the very best studs that meet our high standards.

Bel-Mar Farm Polled Dorset has been on the Voluntary Scrapie Program since April 25, 2000 and will be certified in 2005.

You can see our show flock at the Ohio State Fair, Indiana State Fair, Kentucky State Fair and the North American Livestock Exposition.
